Running late in the morning? Looking for a go-to everyday wearable look? Well, look no further! This eyeshadow hack is total game changer and time saver for both makeup artists and anyone just starting out!
I always find myself starring down at my eyeshadow palettes, trying to decide what colors would look good with one another. Until I came across a TikTok video that absolutely changed my life!
To get this look, you will need any eyeshadow palette, a dense packer eyeshadow brush, blending eyeshadow brush, and a fluffy eyeshadow brush. In the video, Daniel explains that instead of going from the lightest shade to the darkest, you will do the complete opposite.
Starting with a clean base, you will start packing on the darkest shade with a dense packer brush, covering the entire lid. Then take a neutral eyeshadow, slightly lighter than the lid color, and work that into your crease using the blending brush. Finish the look by taking the fluffy eyeshadow brush and put a light, creamy shade on your brow bone. This will help for a seamless transition and to bring dimension back to the eye.
You can use this hack with any shade palette, and use it to create a wearable day look and date night look.
Day look (hazy brown eye):
- Brown shadow on lid
- Orange shadow blended into crease
- Beige shadow on brow bone
Night out (black smokey eye):
- Black shadow on lid
- Grey shadow blended into crease
- Light Taupe shadow on brow bone
Personally, this hack has helped me cut my morning makeup routine in half. It gives me a confidence boost by showing that pairing colors together isn’t as scary as it seems. I hope that you try it out and also feel the same way!
